The conferences are scheduled to move to Nagasaki, and participants will continue their discussion on seeking a way for the elimination of nuclear weapons.

The annual conference hosted by Gensuikyo (Japan Council Against A and H Bombs) was held at the Prefecture's General Gymnasium in city's Naka-ku with 2,500 participants. Their resolution was titled "Hiroshima appeals for the peaceful future with no nukes". The three-day discussion resulted in the resolution, which urged an action toward the survivors' support policies and the succession of their stories to future generations. The conference concluded that it is Japan's responsibility to take initiative in the realization of the anti-nuclear world.

About 700 participants gathered at the Gensuikin's (Japanese Congress Against A and H Bombs) annual conference which was held at the Prefecture's Cultural Center in city's Naka-ku. The conference adopted the resolution called Hiroshima Appeal for the 21st Century- a world without wars and nuclear weapons.
